After over a year of car shopping, we finally got my wife something to replace her Nissan Altima with 205K.

we went up and down the price range and drove probably about 20 different vehicles, including the Honda CRV, Honda Element, Chrysler Pacifica, Land Rover LR3, Mercedes ML350, and others, she finally made up her mind

got her an '05 Lexus RX330... and all I can say is that it's one sweet *** ride, AWD with navigation. This has got to be the best car I've ever had (except for the FD of course ). I did get a little queasy signing the paperwork for it though... just thinking about the amount of money we were spending, but I think we made the right choice and it shouldn't depreciate like some of the others that we were looking at.

One of my favorite comments from her so far has been "I keep driving too fast because this rides so smooth... I always knew when I was going too fast in the old one because it would start shaking." Her old car was a '95 Nissan Altima GLE that she bought new and drove 205K before we got this one. It was a good car and we got our money's worth out of it, but I was getting tired of replacing all the little things that would go wrong with it, like the exhaust rusting out, cam cover gasket leaking, etc.

anyone have any thoughts?

I think your pics don't work! A for effort, though.

Awesome. I like the Pacifica also out of your model choices. My mum's has the Pacifica and it is a pretty sweet *** ride. No luxury things to hers though.

Good choice!

I'm actually partial towards the Acura MDX, since I sell Acuras. The RX330 and the MDX are both great, anything in that price range should be. The Lexus is a little too soft for me and I like Acura's navigation better out of all others, not just because I sell them. Good choice though, you will be happy with it.

That's pretty pimp. I have to say, I don't like the tails, though.
