no we are getting a better WRX then japan. We get 300+hp and they get capped at 287 or some **** hahahahha
Yea, but they're getting the lighter and more race apt version.. I think.. Oh yea, I saw motor week on speedvision tonight and they mentioned something about the VW golf gi (or something like that) coming to america with 180hp (if I remember correctly..) I think it was turbocharged too.. Only got a quick glimpse about it.

If it is turbocharged from the factory I saw the VW turbos at the car show. Cutest little things I have ever seen. About the size of a jelly bean but hey.....better then what I have

I'm not sure really.. like I said, it was on there for like a instant. So, I don't have any in depth stuff, sorry. Yea, the beetles are ok. The turboed one's should be a little cooler. What are you driving right now?

Made me dig through my old mag. collection....

R32:

VW's muscle Golf

...a golf with a 3.2 liter version of the VR6...feeding a six speed transmission and the 4motion all-wheel drive system. With 241 hp on tap and a chuncky236 lb-ft of peak torque at just 2800 rpm, think of it as a normally aspirated, German WRX. But so far, it's a Europe-only deal...VW claims the R32 rips from 0 to 100 kph (0-62 mph) in 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of more than 140 mph...

...VR6 motor, 240HP, turbo, AWD...
Um, it doesn't have a turbo, unless you are talking about the car in the vid, but in that case the car in the vid doesn't have a VR6.

Hehe....who would have thought. A fast golf. I like the style I just hate the people that drive them where I live. They think it is the fastest car in the world! As for the specs....I would definately like to own one. I am sure they would be cheap to fix up!

It is in Dallas. My cousin said he was gonna go look at it for me this weekend since he is up their looking for an apartment. He drove mine for a week so he know a little about them. Not worried too much since I am buying it froma dealer and a warranty is being included. Brand new paint job. And 4k less then my last one! Its on autotrader also. Thats where I bought my last one. Maybe it is good karma....not sure. But I can't wait.
