I bet the STi will do better. I like the EVO IIII and IV. The V and VI are a little too aggressive looking and I don't like the EVO VII or VIII at all right now. A 13.8 is pretty good though but the WRX ran a 14.1 when it only had 227hp and now it will have 287 or something? It should run down towards a 13.5 I bet. And it is still considered a rally inspired car that runs the 1/4 mile that fast. Awesome car, I love the Scooby.

I thought I saw the STi have 300hp and 300 torque.. sounds like they're gonna be a good match for the FD's.

I think it's going to be scarey fast.. like.. I'm going to HAVE to mod my FD in order to beat the STi fast.. I've also heard unlike the 5 sec 0-60 for the EVO, the STi's looking at 0-60 in 4 sec range..

I can't wait to see the aftermarket battles though. The STi will have the stock power advantage but will it have the same aftermarket support as the EVO VIII and the 4G63 engine? Who will be cheaper to modify to go faster? I love that they changed the lights on the STi to larger lights, that was my biggest disappointment with the WRX, those ugly *** headlights.

I believe I read a test run of one to be a 13.48@101.6mph. Pretty quick. 0-60 is around 4.6. I can't wait to see one and drive one.
