Well I don't have a rotary so I figured my Kill story better go in the "Other Cars" section. I was driving on I-25 north about a week ago and I was in a rush to get to work because showing up late as a bouncer is a REALLY bad idea. So for about 10 miles I am following this E46 M3 through traffic and just kinda letting him be the rabbit for any cops. We hit a clear stretch just past the exit to university and I get tired of following him and drop it to 5th give it a little gas and pass him. Well he apparently doesn't like this and stomps on it and tries to cut me off from merging back into the open lane he is in. I hear his motor rev and drop it from 5th to 3rd and blast up ahead of him and into the free lane. We get down past Santa Fe and the Highway picks up another lane and opens up. Well he gets alongside of me and revs. Generally I don't like messing with E46 M3's. They have equal horsepower and torque (nearly) to my car and Beemers are always top end junkies. But I figure what the hell, at least I'll get to work faster. So I drop it into third and the second he gets into the gas I drop the pedal to about 7/8 throttle. I pull like a freighttrain on him up to about 120 and then back it down because I have already exceeded my snow tires recommended top speed. Once again he catches up, only this time he rolls down his window and I see the little asian brat with a "G" chain on and he flips me the bird and tries to take off again. Once again I go from 5th to 3rd with him about a car length ahead and pulling and as I lay the throttle to the floor my rear tires loose traction. Even with the loss of traction on my shitty snow tires I am on him in a heartbeat and passing in a hurry. I take it up to 120 and I see him coming so I take it to 130 get nervous and head for my exit. As he passes he flashes his hazards and once again gives me the finger.

I like those cars. They are straight line banshees every time I get to drive them. I am thinking this joker had bling on the brain and no concept of driving at speed. Just the same though I lost some respect for a cool Bimmer and gained some ego for the top end of an LS1.

Where were you driving? I live in Colorado Springs near I-25. Just curious.

I like it! I like it as much as smoking C230 kompressors in my pick-up!

I tweaked the chip in the S-10, it cuts off at 130, which is usually way further than most ppl will go.

I live up in Denver. This was at I-25 in between Broadway and Santa Fe when I actually picked up the pace.

Good Kill!

My friend just bought a Blue 02 M3. I dont think I'll be racing him anytime soon, those cars are good for like 13.2 in the quarter right?
