[quote name='Shane.Trammell' date='Aug 31 2005, 06:42 PM']an m3 instead of a 300c? you can fit like 6 people in a 300c and 2 in an m3 bc the backseat is worthless. chryslers are starting to share a lot more technology with mb, just look at the crossfire.

you are right. that's why i said he was comparing apples to oranges. if you took a 300c and put it next to say a 525i bimmer, the bimmer would be the better choice.

and the crossfire is practically an amg platform. and the new firepower(should be coming out) is based on a viper platform. i think it is pretty smart. why do R&D on a new platform, when the viper is good to go with.

and the new commander, is based on a grand cherokee platform, NOT the g-wagon platform. ******* idiotic new car salesmen where I work.

bottom line, chryslers have a bad rep reliability wise; even though mb bought them out, mb doesn't even have a great rep anymore.... they have gone from upper class cars to very affordable cars, and didn't rate well reliability

combining mb technology into chyslers is only going to **** up mb in the long run.

I would never spend any of my money on a Chrysler. Those 300s are nice but don't plan on trading it in soon, since the resale sucks. I've gotten a few customers come in and try to compare the 300 to an Acura TL. I usually want to kick those ignorant fools out on their asses. Give me a voice-activated navigation TL any day. Or any BMW will do also.

Dude, an Acura is a ******* honda. It is just a more "luxurious" honda. It's the same with Lexus. Just Toyota's "luxurious" line. Big deal.

That's why I only sell new Jeeps, because they are all really nice SUV's.

true, but driving my 05 ex accord and my friends 05 tl is like night and day. an acura may be a honda, but the acura is a 1000 times more fun to drive. lexus and toyota are the same, however these two car companies have reliability and resale going for them which chrysler doesn't.

No doubt an accord and a TL are like night and day. I'm surprised you still have your Accord after driving the TL. I think it is the hottest car around anywhere near its price range. Hondas and Acuras are not the same cars across brands. Meaning an Accord is not a TL nor is a Pilot an MDX. While a Lexus is just a rebadged Toyota. An RX330 looks and drives like a highlander from the inside. Lexus is still nice, but dollar for dollar and new Acura is the best way to spend your money. That's why I love selling new Acuras.
