I had the honor of driving one Saturday evening. The thing is ******* QUICK! 425hp is alot of fun. The brakes were top notch, and the ride was just so smooth and so comfortable. Too bad there are mark ups on all of them.

And the engine sounds great at redline. Came with a kick *** sound system too, 5 speed auto, with that pretty trick 5 speed auto stick, which the regular 300C's came with 4 speed autostick.

The thing is ******* sick, Chrysler did a really good job making this one.

They are pretty bad ***. It has a number of components from the Mercedes-Benz E-Class which for those who doesn't know merged with Chrysler in 1997. I was to lazy to look, what is the 1/4?

Yeah, it is a Mercedes E-Class, but the suspension, brakes, and transmission are all completely different than the 300C.

1/4 mile time is 13.2@108 according to Road&Track. Does 0-60mph in 4.9. Not to shabby for a luxury car right? LOL

Hell, the ******* brakes are 6 caliper Brembo brakes. Pretty friggin crazy. It's an uber nice car. And gas mileage ain't too bad either for a 6.1L.

I think he has the engine where it shuts off all but 4 cyl. until full throttle. The Hemi has it so this might too.

Actually, the 6.1L Hemi in all the SRT8's do not have that. It is called a Multi-Displacement System. It is available on the Magnum, 300C, and the Charger. All it does is conserve gas mileage when you are on the highway. Once you get to your speed, and the engine does not sense full throttle it shuts down to 4 cylinders. It is pretty friggin neat. I have never noticed it in the 300C's though, because I have only driven them in the city. Not on the highway yet.

And yes, 13.2 is ******* fast, the SRT8 is the 2nd fastest production car made, along side the Z06 Corvette. Not 100% sure about that though. And the SRT8 is a limited production number of 10000 per year made. Everyone at work says it is only 1,500 made. If there was only 1,500 made per year, the price on the car would be ******* nuts!!!
