20B? Anything is possible. Just add money. That would be an expensive project. It is do-able however.

RB20DET in there? Too much money and effort for too little return. I'm sure the guy that did it is happy with his car, but there's an even better way from Nissan. The SR20DET engine. It's a better platform to start with than the RB20DET.

Or what would be old school cool is to build the snot out of a L28. The most horsepower I've ever seen out of a built up L28 (no power adders like a turbo or squeezing juice) was in the high 300's. High 200's would be easier for a street driven car. It'd sound bad as hell like a good straight6 should. Plus, it's way cool to be whoopin' kids with some old school mecha tuned Nissan.

Restoring the rest of the car would be costly. Victoria British can help you with finding those hard to find rubber bits and pieces that degrade with time. But the initial purchase price of a 260Z shouldn't be too bad. Those things are a bit unloved in the Z world from what I can tell. Just be careful not to get one with cancer and you should be OK.

Yeah the L28 would be the coolest.

But the point of the link to the page with the RB20DET, was that an RB25DET will fit in exactly the same way and have way more potential.

Now an RB26DETT is a lot harder, but can be done, and has the most potential of just about any engine made short of an Atlas rocket.
