considering car and engine swap...89 come 66?

Big block swap isnt that bad when you use aluminum parts, but the point of his swap is that he has the convertible sitting, so what your trying to tell us stang is that you will render your convertible useless for this other car?? I guess the emissions is a good point, and the other is classic car insurance, it would probably cost you about $100 a year to agreed insurance on a 66 stang.

yeah....
my GT needs some body work and needs a new top etc...
I would rather junk the body on it and use the driveline and whatever I can on another stang.....

Could and I had thought about it...
But that coupe would be a lot of fun to do a Turbo 2.3 with... like the old SVO's or the TurboCoupes or Merkurs....
Plus it has a pretty good ride and it is getting 01 GT sway bars.... so I am not sure if I want to ruin the handling by dropping in an engine that will make the bastard nose heavy... though I am pretty sure that would be a good 13.8 car. lol thats a lot better than the 18.2 it ran a while back!
I dont know if I am not careful I will end up having a driveway full of project cars and only 1 or 2 of them running! hahahaha
