My Dad's in the market for a truck, might go with him to check the new Colorado out, actually Amy and I would like to trade her P5 in on a truck when she is done with school, but we got some time to figure that out.

Anyhow, normally don't even look at Chevy's cause I used to work for a Chevy dealer, but it's a pretty nice looking rig.

I would look at the new Ford F-150's phins. Unless you are going new. It matters how big you are going also.

I personally don't like Chevy trucks. Seems they are focusing more on there Corvette, the SSR truck thingy, and the stupid malibu.

The 2004 Ford F-250 Turbo Diesel V8 is super duper duper nice. They have some serious pickup for a pickup. Heh. I think the 6.0L engine pushes about 325 horsies to the wheels. Super nice indeed.

But if it is Chevy, I don't know much about them. I work for a construction company and all they use is Ford, Jeep, and GMC trucks. They don't seem to get chevy.

Yea he's gonna stick with ford, we weren't impressed with the chevy's at all and we've been very happy with all the Fords, I was just thinking something midsize would be nice, but they are not very impressive, ******* 5 cylinder engine LOL

Eww. Five cylinder. Hmmmm. The 99 and 2000 Ford's are pretty decent. I dunno how much it is used these days. Base model came with vinyl seats. But no power nothing of course. Just nice solid trucks that you can beat on.

Does he plan on hauling anything behind it?? If so I would go with a 250 Diesel at least. ******* last and last and last. I want a diesel rotary. That would be a miracle.

Naw he ain't going to tow, he has a 1993 F-150 right now, he has put 120K on it and only done oil changes, he loves it. The only thing he plans on towing is my streetbikes to Florida LOL

He's getting brand new though, I dunno what I am getting or if I am getting anything, depends on the money situation.

It's a ways out, he'll prolly end up with something much sooner then I will. I may wait although having the additional tow rig would be nice.
