I'm sad to see my truck go, but I needed something with a real back seat for when the wifey and I have kids. I thought about getting a crew cab truck, but I do quite a bit of driving and 14-18mpg doesn't quite cut it when you're putting 30K miles on a car in a year... I wish I could have kept the truck, but living in a townhome, parking is limited and we're technically only allowed to have 3 cars (stupid community association ). I sure as hell wasn't going to ditch the FD to keep the truck

so after many days and nights trying to decide what would be the best choice, I ended up with an '05 Infiniti G35x and man-o-man, is it sweet! It's certainly no subtitute for the FD, but this thing thing can boogie! (280hp/270tq) handles like a dream too. I'm not looking forward to the winter, but I'm very curious to see it in the snow, especially after having a rear wheel drive pickup.

nice......my only beef with the G35X is that it's not available with a manual tranny.

Thanks guys... sorry the pics aren't working at the moment, damn Comcast, my service goes out almost everyday, can't wait until my DSL gets installed...

little more info...

'05 G35x sedan Diamond Graphite with black leather

auto with manual shift

premium package (includes the reclining back seats, smart key and a bunch of other stuff)

navigation

sirius (being added later by the dealer)

a pretty bumpin Bose sound system with a 6 disc changer and MP3 capability

I test drove an '04 when I was first considering one and loved it, the '05 has enough improvements to make it worth getting, upgraded interior, more power, etc. I'm glad that I waited.

So far I'd have to say it's a great car, plus I paid around invoice for it so no complaints.

I thought about getting a coupe, but the wife won't hold out much longer on having kids and I needed four doors, at least it's a fun 4 doors
