if for some reason you want a rwd car for the snow... get a bmw, it will have traction control and everything.

I know the newer ones do. But I doubt the early 90's models.

I think I'll end up with an MKII Mr2. I love them too much to give em up for the sake of snow. I hardly ever drive on the road when the roads are actually WHITE anywho....

I was also thinking of the newer style 240's...they seem pretty cool (more space than the mr2) but I am not sure how good the Clutch feels compared to the mr2...

I don't think an MR2 is any heavier in the rear than an RX-7.

I dunno, I thought it would have at least some rear weight bias.

my mr2 was badass in the snow....cept the one time i spent a few minutes going straight foward, with my pass door facing the cars in front of me. ....besides that it was fine in the snow....

i put a cinderblock behind each seat and a sand bag in the hood and had 17x7 rims with 215/40 and 225/40 all season tires

ed, while the rx7 and mr2 both have 50/50 ..mr2 had 49/51 .. but close enough.....they weigh about the same too...the thing is, the mr2 is a lot smaller, so smaller area in the rear with a lot more weighted MASS of an engine and tranny ...etc

want to have a cinder block in thier car, lol

i drove my 90 gxl through 2 vermont winters.

never had a problem.

i had a crappy set of snow tires too.

just as long as you are cautious and easy on the gas you wont have any problems.

snow tires are a plus, you can buy rim and snowtire packages in the

$300-$500 range.
