Theres more then a handful coming. I work for Mercedes and have seen one of them in person. Pretty ******* wild.
Only certain Mercedes dealers will be able to get these. You have to buy into it, kinda. Which includes buying about $80,000 in Maybach specific tools directly from Mercedes. Not many dealers are gonna take the plunge on $80,000 worth of tools.
I'm hearing rumors that if you are driving in a maybach and it breaks down they will send a helicopter to pick you up, and within a few hours they will have a "loaner" maybach for you. Free of charge.
NO JOKE

They are pretty much planning on selling these to pro athletes and music industry people. A considerable proportion of deposits are by athletes and rap people.
"Maybach sees its core market not as stuffy old money but as remarkable people who have achieved remarkable things in thier lives, the typical buyers are very mobile, highly individualistic people who want to demonstrate thier social status. The most successful climbers driven by conspicuous consumption"
Just like Cadillac markets the Escalade to a certain group of people.
