Hopefully this isn't a repost. My apologies if it is.

Anyways, this car is the shiznit!! I want one so bad. Although I'm an old school head, I wouldn't mind straying this once. Ariel Atom Website There's a Top Gear video in there that's pretty fun to watch. They said they go for like 30 pounds (british). I'm guessing thats like 50 grand here. Although pricey, that car's pure performance. 0-100-0 in less than 11 seconds. Anybody know if they're selling them here?

If I remember correctly, I think when I looked into the Atom it came out to be roughly $24k.

And yes, I think that thing has been posted before... but its hot enough to be a worthy repost.

Its on my "to buy when I got money" list.

im pretty sure you can buy one, its classified as a "kit car" if you bring it into the states in pieces and assemble it yourself. Ive seen a few Ultima GTR's imported this way.

IIRC there's a guy selling them in California, and I don't think they're classed as kit-cars either. And I think they were more like $50k.

They're nice but you can build something similar yourself for a fifth the price - there's not a whole lot to a stripped out race-car.

The Ariel Atom is like a 4 wheel motorcycle. Very badass driving toy but wouldn't be good for daily driving (obviously).
