my mom has a 93 Grand Cherokee Laredo that she cant get the title for. she's been trying but no success.



So:



I'm looking around for a new jeep for her.



she's had her jeep since 95 or 96. but cant get the title since she's gone through a divorce and the title has my step-dads name on it.



So far I've found about 15 in the area at buy here, pay here dealerships ( I know, not best place to look for one, but her credit is fucked) and ran accross 5 that are really nice. I know about the Inline 6 modle, but most that were good condition were V8.



I want to know if anyone has any experience/knowledge about the 4 x 4 all-trac driveline?



I haven't heard much about them so I just wanted to know if anyone has heard of it.

I know a few people with all-tracs but they really don't run their cars very hard. I haven't checked but i'm pretty sure parts for the driveline are fairly rare since the alltracs are so rare to begin with.



These are people with 1g and 2g celica alltracs btw.



Unless she needs that turbo awd, i wouldn't even bother.

Thanks. Maybe I should have clarified a little better. It would be the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with V8 and full time 4WD.



I just want to find out if anyone has heard about reliability, problems, little "quirks" in the 4wd system.
