Just think about it 427 Cubic Inches of 60's horsepower and torque!

550-600 Straight from Chevy!! Back in 67!!!

I would race a mini with that L88 in it against your shopping cart! Lol should we race to the grocery store???

you might think its sacrilege but if you think about it that huge 427 makes the cobra front heavy but a 20b would lighten it up and let it rev much higher which for road racing ( which is what the cobra was designed for ) would be much better but its just a dream

One of these days I WILL buy one of those 32 Ford Vicki fiberglass kits and put a rotary in it. Just a matter of when

Rotary in a VW Bus. Hrmmm...

No argument over that......

It would be pretty cool.... but you also forgetting that the 427 is what makes the cobra so great... Not until recently did a car finally beat it! It took 30 years for a car to beat it! the car that beat it? Viper GTS-R

0-100-0 barely just barely knocked it out.

The torque in these cars is unbelievable! A mechanic I use to know had built a replica of one and he had it pushing right arounf 570 something at the wheels. It has been a while but he took me for a ride once. Almost any gear puts you back in the seat. His 5th gear felt more like my 1st or 2nd in my stang! lol

But it would be sweet!!

lol if ya do it build a replica of one!!! lol

Though for the price I doubt you could find a real one....

lol but if ya going to go rotary why not the 26b? lol

HELL YEAH!!!

Got to love those high rpm screamers.. I hate red lining right around 6k right now.... I love being in the high rpms I love slamming it into the next gear winding it out to 7-8k and then shifting again!!

I'd take a ******* blown Hemi Big block stuff it in to a Del Sol and make it real weel drive. I'd probably shoot too. Mabye 250 shot. That would get it pumping.
