Different people are different though, thats what makes the world go around......Oh yea, go check out something like a 2001 Miata, that are a lot of fun to drive and extremely reliable and can be made fast reliably!!!!

[quote name='90_GTU_jeremy' date='Sep 5 2002, 12:05 AM']my grandparents just decided that they shouldnt be cheap ****** anymore. so theyre going to buy me a new car. ive got a 20g limit
And dont get me wrong its not the fact that your getting money, its the attitude that you feel like if they dont give you a $20K car they are cheap ******.
They need to give your *** a bicycle so you can get your *** up to a job.
Dont go off saying I'm jealous either, my parants could have given me anything I wanted (and still could) but I choose to work for what I get and always have. It just kills me to think people feel like they are due so much in life

Well said, man.
My folks paid for half of my '86 GXL, and even though the car wasn't the greatest (burned oil from the start), I shouldn't have treated it like **** like I did. Now that I'm paying for my '89 out of my own pocket (only ~1300 bucks left!), I appreciate the car much more.
