I've seen a few with head gasket problems.

But really nothing serious outside that.

 

Check the timing belt.

 

my neighbor bought one used from the dealer in 97... it was a 93. there was a problem with the tranny, but that happened right after he bought it and the dealer had it covered. its actually a pretty quick car. handles good too. i drove one when i was working as a mechanic. it's a fun drive.
