(I8URV8 talking on friends comp)Im thinking about buying a 260z for $1000 to me this is a really good price because the car is so rare(only made in 1974)it is in really good condition, I dont know if i should fix it up and drive that around for a while or sell it and make a profit off of it and put it into the 7.............what would you do? Thanks in advance

i sense that passion is missing from this, in which case i would have to say buy it and sell it for profit. just make sure you find a Z-car enthusiast (who would probably be the only one to buy it for more anyway) that way neither you nor the car loses in the deal.

They are such sweet cars!! The 240 and 260 were awesome. The early 280 was o.k. but started getting too refined and heavy over the years.

Wow! I would have a hard time letting that car go. But like diabolical1 if its not really wowing you sell it for a profit.

I'd buy it and fix it up with an RB26DETT..when I was looking for a project car it was going to be a 260 or T2..couldn't find any 260's that people would part with.

Don't chop it up and add stuff you don't need all on it. It's a 2.6 liter inline 6 masterpiece with teh old L28 motor in it. Just buy it park it and let it soke in value over the years !
