when you're driving at 50mph, and you feel a large CLUNK, and all of the sudden out of the corner of your eye in the next lane over, you see a base model FC rim and tire much like your own, rollin down the road.

p.s. FCs handle just as good as a tripod.

tripod FCs FTW!

that why they make torque sticks so you can properly tighten your lugnuts

RotarBeast 02-05-2007 06:38 PM

well, thats cool. except i have one, and i did torque them down right.

i got in a fight a little while ago, so im thinkin this kid loosened them.

woundup7 02-05-2007 07:38 PM

Torque wrenches also double as beatin sticks,

Yeah me to. It was my 96 chev P/U, I drove 40 miles @70+mph when it hit me (i could hear it) I NEVER TORQED THE LUGNUTS! (ALL 4 WHEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I pulled over 5 times and got them finger tight till i hit an exit and found a shop with a wrench they would let me use. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif

I lost a front wheel on my Jeep a while ago. I was doing around 40mph when the drivers side came off and I ended up skidding to a stop on the rotor. It was kind of funny because when my tire came off it kept rolling pretty good and crossed in front of me, so for several seconds I was actually chasing my tire.

the real question of sanity here is : Did you try to keep chasing the tire?? hahaha
