I guess if you really want oppinions I'll share mine. I'm pretty sure gregs sucks dic....ooh wrong thread.

here's the real opinion.......We have a club that has a small handfull of people that are willing to put anything into it. It gets exhausting. The majority of the club is willing to show up for an event if they can get a free car out of the deal. Right now the codeblue family is in the process of rebuilding a motor, and that takes money, time, and a lot of energy.

Ready for the cold hard truth?

ATTN INWR: WE REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT UNTIL THE COMPLETION OF IOTUS, THE CODEBLUES WILL HAVE NEITHER THE TIME, MONEY OR ENERGY TO CARRY YOUR ***!

In a nutshell, any member of this club that wants to see it go somewhere just needs to STEP UP. Don't just sit and pout about someone else not creating a fun club for you.

Sincerely,

Brian Strange

The ex prez.

<RANT> Brian is right this has been a problem. Jesse, Melody and I took over last year just because no one wanted to show for the meetings and the Officers at the time were burnt out. We tried to get meeting together for 4 months before we essentially declared our selves Officer. A small group of people cried because they didn't elect us. That’s fine we just wanted to keep the club alive. So with the help of the Codeblue family we put a whole list of events together during the first part of the year and listed them on the web page and when they were close I put them on the forums for everyone to see. Well long story short the Codeblue's, bstrange99, Melody and I were usually the only ones to show. The only real success that we had this year was the BBQ and even though it was a success it was a financial disaster (see below).

The other thing that plagues this group is that 3 or 4 people carry the financial burden of the entire club. The BBQ we had brought in $45 dollars which left close to $250 left that the normal 3 or 4 people took care of. INWR.Org and the INWR Forum cost right around 200 a year, and again only a few people ever bother to go to either the web site or forum, and unfortunately if it continues that way at the end of the year I’m not going to bother even renewing the hosting contract. I have a link on the INWR web site that would pay for the site and help out other parts of the club if people would use it. Most of us buy checks right? Why buy them from someone else when you could support the web site by buying these checks? It all goes to the club, and there is a link to the site on all of my sig’s as well., But no one seem to understand that it takes money and people get real tired real quick when it is all coming from what seems to be just there pockets.

In writing this I’m breaking one of the cardinal rules of very successful organizations, "NEVER PASS ANYTHING NEGATIVE DOWN THE RANKS". This one thing can cause a cancer that kills organizations faster than anything else on the planet, the only difference is that in small organizations the cancer spreads faster. Hopefully this RANT will open a few eye to why this club has to keep resurrecting it’s self every now and then. It well keep happening till things change, <END RANT/>

I guess this is the long way of saying no mark you have no objections from me.

Take note here! This is how clubs fail!!!! You have 4 people who care a great deal about "us" and bust there ***** at a great cost to them to get R done. Then a few bitch about things they dont like and are not willing to help with. Example-- dident show up for a vote? Dont bitch!

A club is not like T.V folks, it takes a lot of devotion and coaproation from ALL members to work. You cant just tune in when its convient for you. Granted we all have a life outside our RX club, thats why coaporation is key. We all have a comon bond with our cars, if we want a club lets share the waight in keeping the club alive. I have seen this too many times before and know the people in charge are just that "People" Just like you and me with lives, bills and deadlines who try there best for us ALL. But without the proper suport, they burn out and step down with a bad taste in there mouth from the whole ordeal and every time they look at there car all they feel is pain.

I heard nothing but congrats and prasises about ABF 06 from all members (I had a blast), Dont forget what you said and what "they" did to pull that off for us all. The people that accept office do so with the best of intentions for us all, try and see that and help out when you can.

We are going to comment here, but we have been slightly over busy lately. Were just about caught up with our regular "life" chores, so give us a day or so. We have lots to say also.

I know I'm new here but I'd sure like to be more involved in this club. I was at the BBQ but had to leave early before the poker run. Next event I will make sure that I can hang out longer and will know a head of time what's going on.

I agree with the folks above who want to keep this going and maybe everyone should be at the next meeting????

I will buy my checks here. Pretty simple. Any questions????

My car is a kick in the *** and love driving it. Would like to be around more of you guys who feel the same.

See ya...............................

Here is a good example, "dust&taillights" wants to help out anyway he can. Great job bro!, they, and we need more guys like you.

I may be on the west side but we are all family in this RX world. I have seen how kettleman goes the extra mile for us here on the west side time and time again. He wasent even elected and he steped up and took charge in a great way, (toy run, meetings, ect) thats true love and devoton for the club. Outhers have helped him out also, I give props to you all.

It boils down to this. Suport the people that take the time to make it happen and if you dont like whats going on, make a vote at a meeting. its that simple.

Sad truth is this, only a few care and most bitch about things they "feel" is the way it should be done after the fact. If your so passionate about your views, go to a meeting and say your pease!!!
