hey guys,

I was told that there is a guy in Washington who owns a Cosmo and actually got it registered somehow. I've done a search and found only the Cosmo in WA - Western Austrlia. Am I mistaken?

That would be Brad, 3rotor on the other forum. not sure if he's on this forum.

here's the link to his site: http://www.3rotor.us/page7.html

IIRC he just kind of got lucky with his car(Japanese Diplomats car). There was another one that was recently for sale in Texas(I think) fully legal that was just sold for 20k. I think that there are only a couple in the US. Brad can elaborate further...

That being said there are earlier cosmo's that you can get.

If he got a diplomat's car, that would explain getting it in the US (I saw a VW Lupo with plates in TN), but not how he got it registered. I'm just curious how it made it happen when I've read how Washington is cracking down on GTRs.

I know this will make me seem stupid, but what forum would that be? I checked his site & 3rotor.com and never saw him there.

Hate it? Why, is it full of loud mouthed crap talking kids? That is one of the bad things about the net....anonymity + unsupervised children = chaos without a MOD to put a foot down.
