My firm wants to rent a white or light colored 2nd generation RX-7 (not convertible) for about 24 hours next Monday evening to about 5 pm Tuesday. We are going to be photographing it. The irony is that I have an '88 black RX-7 convertible but that's not what the boss wants in the picture. In any case, I live in Olympia and plan to hop on this site now and then and see what's going on in the no piston world. I also have some of the problems typical to the 2nd gen car (wiper, window).

hope it aint a scam to steal a car.. people used that exact line to do that before. i would make sure its legit .. thats Unless someone knows this person. aslong as you know who it is then fine.

if my car was white or light colored i would do it for $200.00 i need the money, but it would cost me about a $100.00 for loosing time off from work. anyway my car is not white, oh well.

Since I'm new here, probably nobody knows me (I do know a fellow 2nd gen RX-7 convertible owner here in Olympia but don't know if he's on this list). I can certainly understand the theft concern (just like when I've sold vehicles in the past), but it is not a scam. We are actually working with the police department and that is where we'll likely be meeting. I did get one lined up.



As for crime, the RX-7 that I have was my brother's. When he had it, it was broken into twice in one year. The factory alarm doesn't seem that hot.
