It’s been a long summer of many projects, but we managed to get some of our projects done this summer also, which included CODEBLUE rebuilding our 1985 gsl se (Iotus) with a mild street port by himself. His first build went good, and has almost 1000 miles on the new motor so far.
We changed our 1979 (Blue’s) differential. The exhaust sleeves cracked and a piece went up in the turbo during a nightly drive, but did no damage. Shocking, as it is blue, has had no problems for a couple years now, after changing from the Supercharger to the Turbo setup. I must give heads up to Corksport for the awesome workmanship that they did, especially Derrick.
We also bought another 1979 with a 13b weber setup, built by skip, which was garaged for 13 years or so. We did a nice blue paint job on it, and put it away till next spring.
Here are some pictures of all of our children. (Blue), (Iotus), (Jr.Blue), and (Codecrashleyblue).
What has everyone done this summer, and what are your plans for winter projects?
Special thanks to: Oldskool (Gaygs, aka Greg), Unleashed (Mark), and Crashley for the help.
Iotus waiting for a transplant
Iotus’s new parts
Iotus’s new motor all ready to go in
Iotus’s install
Iotus- almost street ready
Iotus- “That’s how I roll”.

Allen and I also did this car for his wife, But she had no idea. Allen did most of the body work. I helped some. I did paint it though. I think it's the best paint job I have done so far.
and yeah I do like the color Blue
