Street Races
#1
I'm thinking of going down to the street races in kent, would anyone want to meet up and go down there with me? I highly doubt that I'll even race, but it is fun to go and laugh at all of the dumbass ricers there. It would be fun to go represent the allmighty 7, and maybe meet some future members for the forum. Last time I was down there I met a couple of rx7 owners. I would prolly go down there around 11:00 pm I have not decided wether I'd go friday or saturdat night, hell, I might go both days. So anyways, let me know if any of you would want to come along.

Guess none of you want to come. Oh,well. I'll try to remember to bring a camera, last time I was down there there was well over 100 cars, every car in the Seattle area with a wing and a coffee can seems to show.

That's exactly why I avoid that scene. I never see races. Just idiots. But it seems that everytime I am there, there is a fight. It's pathetic. I'm too old to find any pleasure in running from spot to spot avoiding the cops without any actual racing taking place. Whatever racing that might occur is boring anyway. I'm not into 1/4 action. Not enough turns. Plus, I know I could whoop their lil' tails right an left with my itty bitty rotary. :smirk:
Tonight I'll be at the Torque Steerers club meeting. They claim to sponser gymkhana events. It looks like it's time that somebody put together something for them to sponser. What's gymkhana? The kind I think of is best described as a fusion of autocross and drifting. The kind that is done in Japan. Yeah, there are other forms of gymkhana, but no need to bring them up tonight.

Hey,
[COLOR=blue]I go down to Kent every once in a while. I used to be in a pretty lame a$$ club in Everett and we used to go down together, but that got pretty usless after a while, because everytime we went we got escorted back to the freeway by the police.
I am not dissing on your wanting to go down there, but I think the place is littered with to many Cops. I have gone down a couple of times and have also seen a few Rx7's.
I personally own a Grey 85 Rx7 GSL. It used to have a wing, and lowered, but that was before I fessed up and got into real racing with autocrosses.
I would be willing to go down there with you some time if you wanted to meet up in Bellevue, and drive down together, but I am not willing to go down there and try to find you. I will be purchasing a police scanner very shortly and then I will be more than happy to go down there. Email me if you would like to discuss it more in detail. jammerx7@comcast.net
Thanks :bigthumg:

Well no one really races on the weekends. The people who do always get caught ... the police arent stupid. The only thing is that on the weekends, its like a giant car show. Thats the only cool part. you'll find about 5% of the people there know anything about how automobiles function. The other 95% just have a body kit and pretend. Now, on mondays, sundays, thursdays, and sometimes teusdays is when the actual racing goes on around here. Just for all you folks that dont know
iluv already knows that.
