stereo wiring

so i started pulling **** appart and i found a couple wiring diagrams, but the rear speakers have different color wires than their mates up at the front of the car. ryan showed me the wiring for his but i think mine are different colors. its ******* confusing. help?

best thing i can say is just to test different ones and try to find out what is what :/
Usually they are pairs, one being a solid color and another one having a stripe... but thats just pointing out the obvious. Wiring up my FC was a pain since the person before me had some crossover stuff installed in the doors and ran thier own wiring without any color coding or anything so I feel your pain.

see, you would think it would be that easy. but i continuity checked a bunch of wires, and one wire in the back speaker had continuity to 2 or 3 wires up front.
Maybe you did have the same thing as me... some hack job install.
Your best bet would probably just run new wires to everything. Thats what I ended up doing :/
(though try to make it easy on you if you decide to do anything later and use different color wires and stuff... though i am sure ya already know to do that... i didn't >.>)

you cant plug and play a FC tim. you have to bypass amp for the 2 front speakers, and both amps for the rear speakers.
i am trying to figure out which 2 of the 5 wires going to one of the rear speakers are audio. ive figured out so far which two are power, but that leaves 3 wires, two of which i need to use. i am also trying to keep it looking clean by using the original connectors. so going in rewiring through the car, drilling holes, and blowing fuses is not an option.

what u need to do is just find out what wires come from the front of the car and connect them to the system, that is what i did and i took out the amps that were in it because they will eventually blow out anyways so i just put my own amp in and used what wires were they from the old radio wire harness. once u look at it, it really very simple to figure it out and do it.

I'm actually in the middle of pulling all of the factory premium sound wiring out of my car. The harness had been hacked in a couple spots, no speakers or head unit. Figure I'll start from scratch. Course I'm looking at putting in a very basic stereo. The car is being built for track days/time trials. Just need some tunes to pass the time to the track.
