1 psi isn't even enough to start the car, and it drops to ZERO when I start cranking it. Somebody local has to have one. please call me.

napa has a generic one they carry on the shelf (cylindrical rotary vane type). I believe it is actually made by carter. It should be the one rated at 6-8psi. that is the one I ran on my holley setup and it worked perfectly without a regulator and it was completely silent also. If you are still running the stock carb then you could use the one that is rated at 4-6psi I think. They are around $50 IIRC.

I wish I still had my old stock pump or else I would get that on its way to you.
