Well, it has been decided after all the new changes in my life now, why not make some big changes in my car. I'm not sure I can actually drive my blue car anymore without getting sick. I feel very strongly about this, and Ive called a few people that are willing to either do the change over, or help me with the change over to turbo charge my car. I'm getting very excited to get this Camden off my car, and possibly get some decent power finally. I never thought this day would come ....whooooo hooooooo turbo baby.
Oh my god, you have NO idea how long I've been waiting for you to say that!
FINALLY!
There's only what, two more camden owners for me to convince?

Yeah, superchargers never have impressed me too much actually. Ive seen dyno vids of rotaries AND Miatas that were supercharged. Sure, they made more power than stock and were probably more fun to drive, but it wasnt THAT impressive, not like some numbers that Ive seen thrown down with turbo setups costing half as much. Ill never forget seeing a fellow forum members black TII on the dyno pull over 300 RWHP, that was fawking insanely cool. I cant remember whos it was now, it was so long ago. Jerk Racer maybe?

EDIT: Holy crap, around 6,000 posts on the other forum, and only a little over 100 here? Boy, Im gonna have to even that out! Looks like more time will be spent here from now on. Besides, I like this VB better, its more like the other ones Im on, haha.

That's relative to the charger used. The craptastic Camden unit doesn't even make a good paperweight it's so useless. Now, with a twin-screw (and very perhaps the axial once they finally start hitting the market again!), it's very easy to make an impressive setup, 350rwhp with a torque curve that makes you think you've got a V8 hiding under the hood. However, there aren't too many twin-screw kits due to cost. I've made some decent numbers with centrifugal blowers thrown on a rotary, but it feels so much similar to a turbo it's preferable just to go turbo instead due to cost and aftermarket.

Deena, I hope you get evereything worked out with your car. You should be able to smile when you drive it and it should bring you joy. I think you'll like turbo boost much better.
Good Luck in the change out. I want a turbo FB also.

Ok here we go again changing my mind...
After a long conversation with a good friend today on the phone. I have come to the conclusion that I really do like Superchargers.
My only problem is that Camden Superchargers suck and do not produce the power that I am looking for, and Im sure will never produce the power I want, unless some miracle happens. So I have decided that I'm wanting Blue to still be Supercharged but go with the centrifugal type blower such as the Whipple. Not sure if theres enough time for the change over before ABF.
I hope this can be done fairly easy, if not I will go turbo.
