Yes, it's true, a sub-9 second '70's mini-truck, not only that, but a luv forum, who'd of thought?

Highlights:

867 RWHP with both stages of nitrous...

1/8 mile: 5.2s @ 135mph

1/4 mile: 8.45s @ 165mph



Engine, no it's not a rotary:



383 sbc Motown block, Callis crank. Eagle Hbeam rods 6", custome JE 13.1 pistons, Comp Cams solid roller 286 @.050 intake 296 @.050 ex .626 intake .646 ex. Brodix Track1X heads and Super Victor 4500 intake fully ported by Creative Flow Management Jesel Shaft rockers. Headers are custom 2-1/8" w/4" collectors and a 3.5" Dynomax Bullet muffler.Speedtech Diffuser Nitrous Plate 200hp right off the tranbrake and another 150hp on a timer, 1150 cfm dominator built by The Carb Shop.

that 7 had to be one of the fastest launches I have seen! That thing hooked right up.

There are actually like 3 8 second Luv's in WA. Either that or I saw the same one with 3 different paint sceams.

not one to make a fuss, but the link states "DID'NT DO TO BAD FOR A 383 SBC BRODIX TRACK 1X HEADS"

...sbc... usually denotes small block chevy, so i'm guessing that is the block, and it is the current bad ***

wildcat chebby of the moment..... (just trying to figure out how to punch out my 305tbi before i drop it into an SE)

wow... I would not want to even ride in that thing... there is fun and just downright scary... that luv falls under the latter of the 2.

My car is nothing compared to that... mine is just a toy for spirited drives... that LUV is a death wish for me...
