They know I want to buy one and can't really afford to at the moment. They are taunting me. I so long to have an s4 TII and swap an s5 TII engine but run it with the s4 electronics. One day.... One day. I just got to keep telling myself that.

Why are you so hooked on the s4 electronics or the s5 engine? I just dont understand why you think that specific combo is so ausome?

no electric OMP to cause limp mode (just ask woundup7 how many ECUs he has gone through). Also you got the Rtek options that allow for more upgrade options without having to get a standalone right away. Kompressorlogic is the one that got me turned onto wanting to do such a swap.

I have never heard of any one except him having problems with the electric OMP sending the ecu into limp mode. I tend to think its a wiring issue there. And many people like the S4 blocks because they are lower compression and will take more boost. Check out there is a guy over on the other forum that used the low comp rotors to make almost 520 at the wheels with a cheap PT67.

wel one of the reasons i would use the s5 block, is its getting hard to find decent jdm s4 ones, they are all rusty and crusty it seems ike.... heck at cork sport its cheaper to buy a s5 one than a s4 because they are more common....

the s5 block makes a lil more power also....

then the rtek is a great ecu upgrade for how cheap it is the 1.7 is just 125. its great for people who wnat ot bring out the power of the stock turbo with out breaking the budget...

ohh yeah my s5 NA went into limp a while ago to and i had to change the OMP.... they do fail, and sometimes they fry ECUS!
