Anyone see the Pinks matchup at Pacific Raceways not to long ago? I know that Horsepower Connection was going to be in it. Just wondering if anyone saw it. From what I have been able to find online it sounds like Horsepower Connection "should" have won but there was something I read about their opponent getting somewhat of a lead and also that they had to turn down the boost on their car to 5lbs to make it more "fair". I think the Horsepower Connection car was tuned for 20lbs though. From what I can tell it sounds like the matchup was bullshit and that Horsepower Connection would have had an easy victory if they had been allowed to drive the car as it was tuned for, and had equal starts instead of the opponent getting a lead.

 

yeah I was there... they only allowed that one car to run at 5 lbs. THe crowd was CHANTING MORE BOOST, but they wouldnt let them have it. And in the end, they lost their car. Thats pretty fucked up.

 

I was talking to Brian a few days ago and he said that they decided that they would not run more boost bc it would have been an unfair race. Either way the driver was the one that lost the car. I guess it ran 9's. Let me see when it is going to debut...

 

if pinks was about having two cars go against each other that were fairly matched than they would have the involved teams disclose what they were using. I guess there is always the choice to back out at the racetrack but I imagine if Horsepower Connection was able to run the car as it was built, just like the other team was able to run their car as it was built to, then Horsepower Connection would be the team with another car.

 

is pinks really on the up and up? seems like tv is always doing some drama **** that looks one way, but really ain't straight. do they pay off the loser under the table?

 

I'd guess it'l be on season 3 since it starts next week

 

I don't know. I choose not to have cable since so TV is BS anyway. I agree Jenkin there is so much crap on... almost more of a pain to channel surf...

 

And that's why I don't watch Pinks.
