I figure since I havent been around much and probably wont make most of the izzy meets, why not intro myself and interests.

Name is Roger. Used to live in olympia, but now in Renton.

I like cars.. a lil too much. I also get attached to my cars.

I like all types of tuning as well, drag, drift, street, show, track, rally, VIP, K car, vans....

Had a 2k honda civic, built like the customized cars in Cali in early 2k (my influence)ued to drive to cali to go to the shows back then.

I still have my 93 civic that I've had since 93. Love that car.

I also have a 240sx fastback. and an 86 gxl rx7 with the v8 swap (explain soon)

At one point, lets say in 02, My EK civic was getting the body work done, my eg civic AT went out, so I started to convert to a 5spd in my garage, then I picked up a 240sx with a bad motor. Started to rip that out and rebuild that. My friend had the fc and did the v8 swap.. but half assed and rushed things. so there are many issues he had to the point he wanted to get rid of it... so i picked it up. I had all these projects at once.

I finally got all of them running and taken cared of. Its just now getting small things done to em(i guess not small, but final stages type thing) and thats where my fc stands. a few tweeks and its good to go.

For some reason, i wanted to pick up another car. I tried to convince a few Canadian guys that were selling JDM cars to drive over the border and I'd pay them cash for the cars, but no bites. something bout a Cefiro or a 4 door skyline thats nice.

The on craigslist, found me another car, Infiniti m30. when to chek it out and the guy said 100 bucks. It looked like sh-t and smashed hood. M30=rare car. I was for sure that the car had a blown tranny or motor.. but i drove it and it hauled and got sideways.

so I bought it.

I also go to the Philippines every so often, so when I went there, I got tired of taking taxies and buses, so I bought a 98 honda CRV with 20 thousand miles. Why? I dont know, I have a house there too. Maybe I wil retire there some day.

I have a few hobbies from traveling, building models to working on cars to reading to snowboarding.

Even being part of the NWrx7 friends, which I feel is one of the best as far as unity, I'm also at hondatech, nicoclub, f31club and am/was/dontknow part of a race team named Reaction.

You can see from my "For my NW family" thread I love to travel and take pictures. I also like taking pictures of cars and car events. I havent really been to Sevenstock (which probably be kool) or any certain model events.. but I need to. I have tons of pics from 99-01 cars shows in California.

Need more visuals.

I love purists... kuz those are the people that get involved with their cars on a personal level. They get angry when someone does something different to the type of car the are attached to. That being said, true enthusiasts.

One thing, dont take it personal guys. Its not your car. I thought bout goin back to the rotary, but there's been too much cutting and disassembly.. its almost not worth it.

At the time when I bought the car, my friend already started it.. But what also made me stick with it was I didnt know anyone or anything about rotaries.

This was before i found this club as well. I always say this is the best club because of the unity. I never felt that from the other clubs. yeah you got friends and people you chat with, but nobody really comes help you out.

On top of that, when I bought the car, my team was mainly hondas, nobody knew anything about my 240, so I was the only one working on my 240, sporadically a friend might stop by and help, but usually it was me. Kuz they didnt know anything bout nissan motors.

I'd probaby got rid of the rx7 if i had the rotary because I didnt have help. I picked it up because my friend blew 2 th350 trannies in it and half assed alot of stuff. Plus v8 stuff is everywhere and tons of people know how to work on em. But true.. Gotta love the Rotary. Even my RX7 friends in Japan think its kool.

I love the look of the Fc, and I'd hate to see it get junked... which is where i think it was gonna go if I didnt offer to buy it for 400 bucks.

That getting junked, FC/DC, would have been a smeggin waste. (I love Red Dwarf too)

ANYWAYS, I was hoping this would be like intro threads for everyone. to post pictures of their cars and rides and interests.

Don't worry, its ok to remove the emmissions, change the seats-turbo-computer-steering wheel-dash-body-wheels, etc... etc.... just don't drop a motor in there that will kick my ***.........lol

damn I'm such a ricer.. I know I know, take it easy on me guys, This was before I knew about all the awesome people in the NW.

I was afraid that I was gonna jump into something and get no help and eventually give up. My team mates will help out on some stuff, but when it comes to working on cars that they dont know... why even call em.
