Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Neil at Pinnacle Mazda for the passes to yesterdays SCCA Performance Driving Experience at Bremerton Raceways. I was really nervous before the event, but everyone was so great. We both had a great time. I need a new front right tire but it was well worth it. Here are some photos - sorry I don't have more. Forgot to take some of our own cars

Great to get up some speed and stand on the brakes without having to worry about traffic or cops.

Ken, Chris, Anton and Neil were all rocking the course. Jose we missed you.

125 in the straightaways. 100 plus in the back straightaway on 9 psi.

The new C7 corvette passed me pretty easily when I was doing about 110 in the straights. Lots of fun, nice to get to stretch out the legs on the seven and not get in trouble.

WELL... we may be able to put something together again with the SCCA folks. I am going to start running novice in Time Trials, and maybe if we have enough folks we might be able to put together a track day @ Bremerton with the SCCA Performance driving experience and some time trials folks... I am still learning alot so this may take awhile to set up, but if there is interest, they'd be glad to have us.

We also plan to retry hosting with Proformance racing a Pinnacle mazda day at Pacific Raceway, but we will need at least 24 people to make it viable. It would be under $450 ea, (usually $475) includes Breakfast and Lunch and proffesional High speed instruction including fast laps the last half of the day. Read more at proformance's site. http://www.proformanceraceschool.com/

Lot's of ways to put something together like this. The Alfa club does it all the time. Was a great shake down for my car. Michelle kindly left out that I spun out in the first session and I launched a lower rear strut bolt in the last session and did some grinding on my new tokico! Sounded REAL expensive from inside! Robbed a bolt off my vert to get home, no real harm done, but gonna remove a few bolts, use loctite and retorque!!! Pretty much the most fun you can have with your clothes on and not get areested! I am VERY happy with my suspension setup! I am sorta intimidated to see what it'll do when I get the wheel spacers, racing tires and monster negative camber applied! Yippee! Gut check time!

Anyway, gotta adjust and repair a couple things to make it to the Wednesday drags! Everyone will be able to get even with me since it'll be in a straight line with no turns for me to exploit!

Sweet RX-3. And C7 corvette? I thought there was only a C6...

That being said was it a Z06?

c7 is still prototype I believe. I know there was supposed to be a vette coming out with an ls7 (is it out already?).

My bad, I meant the new 2007 vette, bunch of minor changes on the sheet metal. Either way its fast.
