I picked up a 1986 Volvo 760 GLE Turbo Sedan from craigslist yesterday. Got the best deal ever (well next to free that is). $300 and I drove it home. I got to clean out the flame trace (PCV) system, replace the o2 sensor, and knock out the cat and it should be good to go. It smokes a bit out the tailpipe but the smoke has a carbon/fuel and a hint of oil smell too it which is being caused by the crankcase having to vent out the dipstick because the PCV system is clogged. Venting out of the dipstick has mad a little bit of a mess because oil is practically squirting out. So it has a little bit of work to do, but it will be worth it (fingers crossed). I think I will install a catch can while I am cleaning the pcv system.

power seats, automatic climate control that works, power sunroof, and heated leather seats. The blower motor is loud as hell though, hopefully I can fix it with a cleaning and lubing because the noise it makes would drive someone mad.

once I get all the little kinks out of the new volvo it will be time to offload the van and the nova. Have the volvo turbo wagon for the family, and the turbo sedan for the commuter.

Hey Riggin,

Again, nice ride!

Not to steal your thread, but do you know which Volvo turbos come with which injectors? Do any of them run something like a 550?

I dont think the turbo volvos came with anything that size. One of the popular mods is a resistor trick to use injectors from the 2.3 turbo fords and/or from gsl-se rx-7s. From what I can find it looks like the volvo injectors were 300cc or so.
