I got bored at work today with all the heat so I decided to mod another throttle body and do a bit of porting while I was at it. Not pretty but all I had was a cut off disc and a coarse grinding stone.

the ones ive seen where the TRI is in the middle of the 3 holes most people port it to a sharp edge, that looks cool but not that big of a port job. looks good though, ill be back in the EFI game here in the next 2 weeks, man do i miss it

not too big of a port job but I removed a LOT of material. the middle portion used to be level with the top of the throttlebody. I did my best with the tools provided though. I am not too concerned about it though. Not like I am using it. Gave me something to do, and air tools keep you cool (noisy as hell, but keep you cool).

My plugs were cleaned with kettle's plug blaster a week before ABF. I think they were "newer" plugs but then again I am fairly sure kettle may have got the newest plugs I had when we installed the bad transistor trick. My current throttle body I have in the car only has the double plates removed. When I dynoed at ABF I was using the above TB... Just not AS ported as you see it there. I did manage to prove that the TB mod was good for at least 4HP on an NA.

Interested in trying out that TB Ryan? The TB mod was originally designed for turbo applications so even though my results were good I would imagine that a turbo could have possibly even better results.
