Exactly, there is a guy parting out an FD motor on craigslist, one good housing for $50.

I saw that this morning. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a difference between S5 and S6 housings. I think the exhaust ports are different. That means I'd have to port them to get them the same. Also I know the the plugs in the S5 are located in different positions then the s4 cause of the knock sensor. Is the S6 the same as the S5?

I believe the dowel pins are different. I think that is why z-beater specifically needs an FD or cosmo 2 rotor intermediate housing.

If someone has a T2 housing they are more than welcome to come down to my place and compare. Mine are sitting on my bench at the moment.

I did need the Cosmo or REW Center iron though. There was a difference in the dowel bin location according to Pineapple.

Let me know if someone is interested.
