Ok folks. Some of you have been to the Miata races we backed this year and may have met the "kid". Well he is now in Topeka for the National runoffs and he has a blog if you're interested.

Yours truly goes back there next Wednesday to pit crew and check out the scene and offer support. It's the first year that Spec Miata is a national class.

Why would rotor heads be interested? This guy is one of 6 that SPEED TV is featuring as one to watch... that's right someday maybe he'll be in a Formula Mazda or Star Mazda with a rotory open wheel! You met him here first! Wish us luck, going to be a brutally tough field. 61 qualifiers so far. He is picked as a likely top ten.

Off to Dorothy land soon!

I got a chance to watch him race earlier this summer at Pacific. He can flat out drive. Best of luck to him.

This kid is amazing. He's what, 18 years old, and beating up on guys who have been racing longer than he's been alive. He is a joy to watch. The Miatas out there are pretty competitive and have a big run group. We will have to make sure to be out at the track again next season so we can keep an eye on him.

It looks like the racing is pretty hot with the IRDC out at Pacific too. We should try to go to one of those next season too. They have Pro7, Miata and tons of local guys running Pro3.

Andrew is on the provisional pole! This is out of 60+ Divisional Champions!

Yesterday may have been the best Qualifying day. Raining out there today and scketchy for the next 3 sessions... The top 20 qualifiers were less than 3 seconds apart on a 2.5 mile track! The Sunday Race is gonna be awesome!

I fly out Odark30 tommorrow. Promise cool pics and stories... Go Andrew!
