supra is sweet quick as all hell it's an 84 MKII na rex would have trouble keeping up (no this isn't a challange)but same year cars with stock motors would be a nice race inline 2.8 and 3.0 stock in 82-85 and my 2.8 screams but i want another rex some day(need somthing to match my RC car lol)
A BONE STOCK 12a might have trouble keeping up. thats about it.

I had a Mark II Supra. They're slow. 16.0 stock... can't get **** from a 5mge anyway. There's a guy at Nix99 in Lynnwood that has a perfect MkII with a 7mgte it's a 13 second car I think. Clean as hell though!! Most you'll ever get out of the 5m is maybe 150whp BPU if it's tuned well, but don't expect it to last.

yes the guy at nix 99 is a friend of mine he's done more swaps that i can count (his names shawn if you don't remember his name) as for the 5mg i know of several with 220 rwhp na and one 5mgte that puts almost 300 to the wheels don't under estemate the 5mge.

also as we all know stock na fc is 140 crank i put that to the wheels easy(i am not nocking the rex) and same year 12a outs out what 100 hp so as we see there was a large hp difference there granted the fb weighs like 200 pounds less

i'm not going to argue that the rex has alot of potential but i am saying that as it goes my bone stock 5mge can keep with a much newer 13b and though i was toasted by a black turbo fc i cept up with a red fc turbo pretty easy only out powered me in the end off the line i easily had the lead

but i'm not trying to start a toyota vs mazda fight here

I don't know just that car and some of the DSM's have always stuck with me. Caught in the 80's I think so...

And you guessed it, I listen to 80 but rock too

I'm sorta with Z on this one... I like the 80s import cars, MKIII, 1st gen MR2, FC, 1st gen DSM, etc... its just i found the FC suits me the best, and when i was super little i got to ride in one and i loved it
