HEEEEEEYYYYAAAA!

Hope you haven't forgot about me yet. Its Nate with the '84 Modded GSLSE. Just thought I should let you all know that I made it here. No it didn't take this long to get here. We left Monday morning the 2nd of July at 1 in the morning by the time we were finally ready to leave, and got here the following Saturday night at 11pm.

But let me tell you about the trip boys and girls. We would've made it there in 3 days if it werent for complications. Picture a 1987 Dodge Conversion van without any **** carpet or bed, now stuff it COMPLETELY full of stuff except for a futon that was raised up and stuff under it so we could sleep. My best friend BTW decided that he's moving with me cuz he had nothing holding him down in our town. And then picture my 7 being towed on the back on a tow dolly.

Suprisingly enough we made it over the Blue Mountains, the Cascades, and then finally the Rockies. We stopped in Colorado Springs for the night to stay with his family and to also take a shower and sleep in a real bed (A+ compared to switching off and on driving for 7 hours and sleeping for 4) BTW we made it to Colorado by I think Tuesday morning. We leave Colorado rested Wednesday afternoon, full of food and make it to Georgia by Thursday afternoon.....trust me we didn't stop only for gas. 7pm and its Rush hour in Atlanta...its freakin hot, lots of traffic. We get through Atlanta (I'm not driving) Joe starts to get over on the 5 car hwy to take the next exit to get gas. I look up from doing something and all I see is stopped cars and we're still going 55-60 mph. I was like "Oh sh*t" and all I can remeber is about 4 impacts and glass flying. I-75 and we caused a 6 car pileup...in rush hour... I'm fine, Joe's fine and hardly much moved in the van cuz of everything so tightly packed, only the coolers behind the seat splashed melted ice everywhere in the cabin. While getting out of the van I'm calling 911, I'm shook up of course and all I can think about is "OMG how bad is the 7........I walk to the rear and there she is .................still safe and sound on the car dolly that broke off the hitch ball and plowed into the bumper but still good. I WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO relieved!!!! I hugged my dear car. All this time my friend is freakin out and people are out of their cars none of them pissed just happy to be ok. 2 ppl had to be taken to the hospital due to procautionary mearsures. I pull the 7 off the trailer and she wont start. F*ck did the fuel cut off activate??! I call Dan and assures me that that couldn't have happened unless I flipped the car. Eventually I find out that it was just REALLY flooded. Which is weird cuz it only happens after she is turned off and only sits for an hour. She had sat on the trailer for 3+ days.

BTW my friend is being arrested ONLY because in the state of Georgia, if you dont have insurance, you dont get a $580 ticket like WA, you go to jail. The van is impounded along with all of our stuff. I end up stressin out that night in f*ckin Jonesboro, Georgia trying to get him out. Ya, no bail bondsman will help an out of stater just to let you know. I end up spending the night in some crappy hotel and the next morning finding the 7 ACROSS the parcking lot on a curb like it had rolled backwards....I thought i set the ebrake. She had a flat tire. Had to limp it to a nearby Goodyear, get a new one cuz it wasn't patchable. Bail out my friend, get a u haul and sleep in the uhaul the next night. Next day we go through all the legal crap to release the vehicle from impound and load up the uhaul...which i got a deal on (so I thought). All we needed was a 15-17' turck and they offered a 34' one for half the price as a special. All in all I had to let him drive the 7 behind the turck as we made it to Orlando on Sat night. He didn't act up...wonder why.

thats my friend in the pic....ill upload pics of the crash if i can..
