I went and I believe that the city has no choice but to keep it going. For how many people that showed up tonight I was really impressed. With everything that was said and the fact that it would be stupid. There will be double the street racing and double the lost of money. I also agreed with the gentleman that had mentioned that if we all really want to show them that we want the track to stay open. Then we need to be a bigger of apart of it. We need to maybe volunteer to help clean and fix it up. Make this a huge community project. There is a lot more that we can do then just go to the meeting and find out what they are going to do.

We were headed out the door, but something came up at the last minute. We saw cody on the news
Sounds like you feel really strong about keeping the track open. Yes, it must be a community project, but talk is cheap, and honsestly motivating some of these people in the area is tough work. Get a good committee together to make it happen. Make sure you pick people that you know will actually help, and will stick it out even when things get tough and tiring. Get lots of community sponsors to raise some money to help with some of the projects. Have a set plan, and go for it.
A project of such, is a full time job, so make sure your motivated enough to follow through and go for what you believe in.
It starts with you.

Yep sister you heard right.............they said smaller races maybe............we probably wouldn't see any sprint cup, nationwide would be cool but who knows.
