Its doesn't matter if you hit a 13.99 or a 13.00, 13's are 13's and for the 13 seconds or less I am free. Sorry had to do it. Third run of the night hit a 13.91 at 101.81 with a 2.129 60 footer. All at 10 psi which was good for 218 to the rears at abf. My 10 psi tune in is really good thanks to Z.

After this run **** went sideways really quick, I keep poping off intercooler coupling, especially going into 4th., between the turbo and the intercooler. I also blew out the the nipple on the compressor housing for the boost controler. I blew off the coupler twice going home. So it time to weld some beads on there. The best thing about drag racing is you find all the weak links quick. Intercooler piping had not even been a problem until tonight. So back to the garage and the welder. Later this summer I probably go back out, we should try to make one club day of drag racing.

Good jobby job mang! I can't wait to get mine on the track. Once you get those 60 ft's under 2. you'll be runnin mid to low 13's.

as a drag racing noobie, would it be possible to hit 13's with a half bridge 13b running nos? inquiring minds want to know....

i bought ddubs motor and have rebuilt it with the plan of dropping it into my 86 se, runnning a nitrous system, and breaking into the 13's. is that reasonable?

are those themagic numbers for 13's? 200+ rwhp and traction and reaction to get 60 ft times under 2 secs?

will i have to pare the weight of the fat *** 2nd gen down, and go on jenny craig?

HELL YES. I knew you had it in you. Just wait until the port and bigger turbo comes then we will see if we can get you into the 11's.

It all depends on if you can drive or not. Drag raceing is 90% driver. You can't be fast with a 300whp car if you can't drive it.

Lol i've heard so many people say drag is 80% car 20% driver... Id say about 50/50 driver/car... seeing as even the best driver wont get anywhere without a good car, and a good car wont get anywhere without a good driver. I mean you could have a top fuel dragster run 13s if you dont know what the hell youre doing hahaha

You can run a 17 second quarter mile and still be good, as long as you run the same 17 seconds EVERY TIME.

Chris, Nice job on the 13's man.

Well the good news is I can still crank it up another 5 psi, just have to tune for it. I know where a monster turbo is just sitting at down in Lacey. Come on Dave just let me borrow it for a few days, I swear I will bring it back

Have you had a long enough break from your 7, or you going to chill for a few more weeks.?
