Well, been meaning to fix the sunroof on my TII as the motor won't run the roof, but it would work with the hand crank ( i mean the allen wrench).

Unfortunately, i was on the passenger side and managed to open the roof too far, and now it wont close because it is crossways on the tracks by a quarter inch or so.

Any suggestions as to how to fix it without tearing it out of the car?

thanks ever so much.....

I have had two RX7s an 86 and currently an 87 and neither one of the sun roofs closed properly, I have always had to pull on it while pushing the button. It's a pain in the butt when you're driving down the freeway and it starts to rain and you need two hands to close it. Gotta get my 90 running soon, the sunroof works in it so I have been told.

yeah, seems to be a common problem. i guess i should just remove it ala fsm and if i cant fix it, pull one from one of the 12 parts cars (lol)....

i guess i should go up on the roof and take a pic of my rx7 boneyard and see if k-logic can do better!!!!
