SOUTH PUGET SOUND AREA



Hey all... short notice....



Gathering interest for a short drive this sunday ( 8-17 ) and since The Turbo FB crew canceled theirs, i call dibs on sunday! haha.... Possible route could be taking I-5 form the south sound area, down to Olympia, and then hitting the back roads through tenino, yelm and le grand.... coming up 161 and then cutting across east on kapowsin hwy and past orting, and then up the backside of the bonney lake plateau ending in the BL, for BBQ time.... probably about a 2-3 hour drive....

 

Turbo FB crew had a drive planned? I will be in westport... probably will not be able to make it.

 

We were thinking about, but decided we needed a weekend off from car stuff. That and I'm tired of putting work into an event where more than half the people who say they are showing up end up bailing. Seems like a lot of folks in rx-7s aren't too interested in having fun in their cars anyway.

 

TRUE story... i wish people would just say yes OR no...and that would be the answer.... its called planning people! So far there is a list of drivers coming on the forum... we will be meeting up in federal way and driving south to an undetermined meet up point in the Olympia area.... hope some folk can make it! should be a nice drive.

 

Well.. the was nice.. granted the obligatory rain here and there..... we had about 9 cars at the most and 7 cars took the whole route.... hope more folks can come next time, it was beautiful.
