It does get too hot in Spokane in the summer. The only advantage is that you could move your hot-water tank to the back yard during the summer, and run the water lines into the house. If you drive down to Spangle this summer, look at the house across the street from the post office, to see an example of this. The first word that leaps to mind is not brilliant!
