Is there a way to lower the points that you have on your driving record? The one that car insurance companies judge to base how much your premium is going to be? I currently have SR22 insurance due to a less-than-perfect driving history, but NO DUI'S, and NO ACCIDENTS, just a bunch of minor violations, a couple of negligents, and one reckless ticket that I can recall of. I looked at my insurance paperwork, and I'm rated at 24 points...I'm guessing that's kinda high, right?

Anywho, my premium is crazy expensive, and I'm not too excited about paying $300 a month for SR22 liability insurance either.

Anyone know a way around this? A way to lower this points crap? I haven't gotten any tickets for 8+ months now, and have recently refiled for SR22. I like driving around without fear of getting thrown in jail for a suspended license. Outlaw status gets expensive.

How long does this **** stay on your record?

Or am I officially screwed?

As you can tell, I'm kind of oblivious to this, so any info's appreciated.

you know once they discover you have tickets and that you lied to them, it's a federal offense right? as in "jail time". defrauding an insurance company/insurance fraud is a major crime in this country.
