Besides, I just spent a bungload on brake parts, I still haven't heard from Oregon about my ticket, AND I need an oil change, so I guess getting the hours isn't that bad... ****, YES IT IS THAT BAD!!! I'm tired of being tied up all the time!

Did you get a speeding ticket? I have to go to court in sept. for mine. It should be easy to get dropped though, the cop paced me through 4 lanes of traffic to tell how fast I was going.

My usual reply to that is please hurry up and write the ticket so I can cause the least inconvenience in your day.
That basically means shut **** up and write the ticket, but it is polite enough that they cannot say ****. The last ticket I got... which I am looking at the letter from the lawyer saying it was dismissed. The only thing I said to the officer was "thank you" when he handed me the ticket. Best bet is to nothing or as little as possible. If you are an ******* they will write the report, if you are cool, 9 out of 10 times they forget to write the report correctly.

Only going 82, I would of at least been doing 90 to get out of that ****** hole and I live in southern Oregon. All the cops down here are ****** when I used to have my mini truck they would park around the corner from my house and wait for me at least once a week to give me a ticket glad I grew up and got rid of that fricken thing.

Its funny you say that. I HAD been going waaaay faster at some points along the trip, but after the ticket I kept it on the straight and narrow... exceeeept when I was driving on Hwy. 20 in California. Those were some fun backroads when I wasn't being slowed down by some local jerk.
