the car got impounded today without notice. 400 bucks down the drain cocksucking "law enforcement"



i had 200 dollars in craftsman tools and jacks in the car too...

I'm almost sure that they have to give you your tools and personal items back, check and make sure. I think they can only keep the car. Then find out when their action is and by it back for little to nothing. I dought anyone else would want it with the suspention gone.

Legally they have to give you 24 hours to claim personal property at the least! And I also believe you are supposed to recieve notice also. This is just going off some of the rules I know for when vehicles get repod, but seeing as you own the vehicle, it was not parked immobile for an excessive amount of time on a public road, and since no attempt was apparently made to contact or notify anyone then I am pretty sure something not exactly legal, if not completely illegal, took place. Definately raise hell about it!
