Here are some pics I took today of some of the body work progress. If you can't remember, the car had door and trunk handles and locks, as well as some nasty bumper mounts on the rear. All that is gone! How do you like the C/F mirrors? More to come, but I just roller her out into the sunlight for the first time in 8 months to blow all dust off and sweep out the garage.

Oh, the vents that you see on the right side of the car will also be cut into the left side fender to help pull hot air out of the engine bay.






first stage a few months ago...





















Here is the new battery in its aluminum battery box. Total of 18lbs!

It fits in the passenger fender well between the inner and outer fender.






Last one is a new front suspension brace that is painted red in this pic. It ties the major flexing points to the front roll cage.

I have a picture for you.



This is a rotary midget that autocrosses locally here.



I havent talked to him in detail but its turbo and making a claimed 400whp, and I beleive it the way it accelerates down any straights.



He blew the diff at the last event though.
