mike what are the specs on that motor you are droppin in?

 

Looks like there are going to be quite a few quick FD's in the area in a very short time. I might have to get busy on some major mods if you guys are going to be going with singles. I dont want to look bad

 

It is just a stock LS1 out of a 2001 Trans Am. 346ci SBC they say they are around 330hp at the crank and around 350 ft/lbs of torque. with the "bolton guys are around 330-340 to the ground. I am guessing I will be about as fast as a Z06 corvette with the motor stock. I am hoping for mid to low 12's out of the box but who knows. Especially at 75-80 where a viper gets smoked by a VW bug and the viper runs a low 13 sec pass.

The fastest guy I know with the same swap as me is running 11.4's with a cam only and bolt ons minus headers cause they dont exist right now. He also had an automatic rear so he was 3.90 gears where I am 4.10's

 

that place has some serous rednecks and lots of drunks, and the track is nice and bumpy!
