I have no idea why IT leaned out and BOOM..
Ironic thing is I was racing her all summer and No problem. Then one night I was running kinda late for work. and some idiot was going like 50mph on 495. I was being lazy, I didn't downshift and kinda gassed her in 5th gear tring to pass this asswhipe, then " PING" and car sounded like the exhaust FELL off. what a awlful SOUND. WIth black smoke spewing out the exhaust. Once parked i tried to keep her running, but she finally died. and wouldn't start back up. That is a good question. WHY.. I think, because my turbos were running sequential. and when I gased her in 5th. the 2nd turbo came online and SPIKED. I am guessing, I have no idea.. I have a full exhaust DP, MIDPIPE, CB, SMIC, INTAKE, upgraded fuel Pump (nippon Denso) with PFC w/commander. I have 135K on the original motor and turbos, so I figure it was matter of time... So how is a REMAN any differnt from Malloy Mazda, or ATKINS to PINAPPLE?? isn't a Reman a reman? |
Well Atkins and Pineapple dont sell remans, they sell rebuilds.

OK not to sound totally stupid..
Isn't a REMAN, theoretically a rebuild??? So with Pinapple or Atkins. YOu send your blown motor and they rebuild it??? OK guys anything else besides The TURBOS i should look into replacing while the Motor is pulled???? Is a FLY WHEEL neccessary?? Its the original. how about stuff like starter, Radiator and other Pocket draining STUFF???? |
