You two guys have a strange sense of responsability

We showed up unannounced with 30 people.

That girl did a damn good job serving all of us considering. They hooked us up with sodas and chips. And even handled the bills pretty well. So then after about 45 min I get word that someone walked out on their bill.

Being that I arranged everything I see it as my responsibility to take care of the unpaid bill of $27.

Now why on earth you two decided to walk away from your table and not pay your bill is beyond me. So I went and paid your bill for you so the waitress wouldn't get yelled at by here manager.

I gladly paid her a $10 tip. As far as I knew I wasnt getting paid back for it. So really It was my right to tip her whatever I wanted.

I also picked up the bill for my entire table and tipped the girl $20 on top of that.

You guys didnt pay your bill and I am not one to be cheap so I paid it for you.

Next time pay your bill before walking away from the table and you will never have that problem again.

Sorry if that sounds harsh but you guys are in the wrong on that one.

I am not mad about it at all but don't bust my ***** abouy over tipping considering I was doing you a favor.
i understand, i would have tipped her the same too if i was there....... but i was too excited and kinda lost track of what i was doing ..... sorry

Hell,I had to split---I figure if you leave plenty of cash to cover the bill, then I am gone.I got a beef burr, and a pitcher of coors light. That was it--the bloody Mary was paid for at the bar.I left 40.00 on the table for the poor girl.Maybe you should wait, but i didnt have another 30 minutes to kill.

It's all good.

I think it has to do with being an adult.

Some learn the lesson about paying a tab quicker than others.

No worries. Its old news and they gave me the cash back.
i think it has more to do with the fact that no one seemed to be leaving the restaurant, we saw an interesting car and slowly meandered to the parking lot still somewhat feeling the tequila.

i didnt buy anything so i didnt worry about a bill or anything like that but i just think you shouldn't think the wrong thing about mike and martin. I overheard the waitress say to dave at the door that someone didnt pay their bill, and heard the description, i went outside and told mike and martin and they promptly walked in to pay the bill. NONE of us knew all the bills had been paid for because as i said it didnt seem like anyone was leaving too soon. the waitress said someone paid the bill and they again promptly went to dave and paid it. if they were crooks would they have even bothered to bring it up to you since as you said yourself you didnt expect to be paid back?

as for it being because you guys are adults that you didnt walk outside, blamever makes you feel good but it was an honest mistake anyone frtom the age of 12 to the age of 80 could've made.

im not arguing or anything caus ei did nothing wrong, but i think mike and martin deserve some explaining from a 3rd person view.
